PSYCH 230 - Clinical and Counseling Psychology This course provides an introduction to the science and practice of clinical and counseling psychology. History, major theories and scientific underpinnings will be covered, as well, as current developments in practice and research. Major topics include theoretical models, diagnostic and assessment methods, psychotherapeutic interventions, treatment effectiveness, specialization and training. Prerequisites: PSYCH 132 and PSYCH 204 . (3)
