BIOL 444 - Population Genetics


A study of genetics and ecological forces that influence the structure of populations with lectures, laboratory exercises and experimental studies. Students will evaluate the effects of random genetic drifts, mutations, natural selection, inbreeding, assortative mating, molecular evolution and quantitative/ecological genetics on populations. Prerequisites: MATH 201  and BIOL 442 . (4)
