SM 410 - Sports Analytics

The course will discuss the theory, development, and application of analytics in sports.  Students will learn about the application of analytics in sports for purposes of in-game strategy, player performance, team management, and sports operations, among many other topics.  Students will learn to apply modern, practical analytic techniques to sports data in search of actionable insight and a competitive edge.
