PSYCH 300 - Careers in Psychology This course focuses on career planning and development issues for psychology majors. Using a combination of lecture, readings and exercises, students will be exposed to information designed to assist in the clarification, selection and pursuit of a career in psychology or a related field. Topics will include an overview of the undergraduate major in psychology, career options in psychology and related fields, preparation for employment with a bachelor’s degree, preparing for and succeeding in a graduate school and applying for a job or to graduate school. Prerequisites: Junior status. (3)
