CJ 440 - Contemporary Problems in Policing


An analysis of both traditional and contemporary critical law enforcement issues, including organized crime, terrorism, computer crime, corruption, police use of deadly force, alcohol, drugs, policing of civil and natural disturbances, and the diffusion and multiplicity of police agencies; crime reporting, assessment difficulties, and the public reaction.
